1. Services Offered
1.1 Scope of Services
Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning offers professional cleaning services for residential and commercial properties, including bond cleaning, end-of-lease cleaning, and other specified cleaning tasks. We aim to provide high-quality cleaning services to meet our customers’ expectations and deliver excellent results.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a deposit as specified during the booking process. If a booking is accepted without a deposit, it is still treated as a standard booking, and all Terms & Conditions remain applicable. Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule services at our sole discretion, regardless of whether a deposit has been received.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payment for our services should be made as per the agreed terms. We accept various payment methods, and details will be provided during the booking process.
2.3 Late Payment Fee
In the event of late payment for the customer’s invoice, a late payment fee of 2% monthly will be applied to the outstanding amount until the invoice is paid in full. Should it become necessary for Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning to initiate legal action to recover funds owed, the customer will be liable for all incurred costs associated with the recovery process, including but not limited to legal fees, court costs, and any other expenses deemed necessary for the recovery of the outstanding amount.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation and Fees
Customers can cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice before the scheduled service time. A fee of $50.00 applies immediately after booking and is applicable for all cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service date/time will incur a fee of $80.00.
4. Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Rescheduling Conditions
Customers can reschedule their cleaning appointment at no extra cost, provided it is done with reasonable notice.
Additional charges may apply for rescheduling without sufficient notice.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Terms
No refunds are provided for services rendered. Payment is non-refundable once the service is booked and completed.
Hourly Rate services do not include a service guarantee.
6. Service Guarantee
6.1 Guarantee Conditions
If a customer is unsatisfied with our services, they must notify us within 72 hours of service completion. We will resolve any issues promptly and free of charge, subject to our discretion & Service Guarantee policy. Hourly Rate services do not include a service guarantee. We do not guarantee the number of hours required for a service.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Liability Exclusions
Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning is not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms & Conditions, even if the fault is ours. We accept no liability for any loss of income, time, additional rental payments, or any other expense or cost incurred by the customer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with our services. Our liability is strictly limited and we accept no liability for any claims or damages.
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We carry appropriate insurance to cover accidental damage caused by our team members.
Customers should secure any valuable or delicate items before our team arrives.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Resolution Process
In the event of any dispute arising from our services, we encourage you first to contact us directly to resolve the matter. If the dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, you may seek mediation through a recognized mediation service. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through arbitration or other legal means as necessary, following the guidelines of the relevant arbitration authority.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Force Majeure Conditions
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms & Conditions if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions. If a force majeure event occurs, we will notify customers as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete the service.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
11. Terms of Service Amendments
11.1 Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Electronic Transactions
13.1 Validity
All electronic communications and transactions are considered valid and binding. By engaging with our services electronically, you agree that such communications and transactions shall be deemed legally enforceable.
14. Debt Collection and Credit Reporting
14.1 Debt Collection
We may refer any outstanding debt to a collection agency. You agree to be responsible for any additional costs incurred during the debt recovery process, including collection agency fees and legal costs.
14.2 QCAT Application
If the debt remains unpaid, we may apply to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) for recovery.
You agree to pay any legal fees or costs incurred by us in relation to this application.
14.3 Credit Reporting
We may report the outstanding amount to a credit reporting agency if the debt remains unpaid, which could affect your credit rating.
14.4 Consent
By engaging our services, you consent to the possibility of debt collection, QCAT application, and credit reporting in the event of non-payment.
15. Health and Safety Standards
15.1 Compliance
Customers must ensure that the premises comply with the health and safety standards necessary for our team to perform cleaning services. This includes but is not limited to ensuring adequate ventilation and safe access to the property.
16. Pre-existing Conditions and Cleanliness
16.1 Existing Conditions
Moreton Bay Bond Cleaning is not responsible for the cleanliness or conditions of the property before our services begin. Any pre-existing damages or unclean conditions should be reported before the commencement of our services.
17. Client Cooperation
17.1 Cooperation
Customers are expected to cooperate with our cleaning team during the service.
This includes following any reasonable instructions provided by our staff for a smoother cleaning process.
18. Special Requests
18.1 Additional Services
While we aim to accommodate special requests, additional services not included in the initial agreement may incur extra charges.
Any additional services must be agreed upon in writing before the commencement of the cleaning.
19. Pet Waste
19.1 Handling Pet Waste
If pet waste poses a health or safety risk to our team or interferes with the cleaning process, additional charges may apply for its removal or disposal.
20. Customer Verification
20.1 Verification
For security purposes, we reserve the right to verify the identity of the customer or their representative at the time of service.
